This is our family, all seven of us. if you include the dog. Trenton is the oldest child and seated next to mom in the picture. Trenton has Fragile X and was born in 1987. I was excited and nervous. He is a grown up now (so he says) but academically at a kindergarten level. He is a jokster, enjoys his work at REACH, cars, the city bus and Special Olympics. Oh, i forgot about his electric scooter!
It is my hope that this website will be a forum or place for dads to come and share. Share their hopes, dreams, goals, frustrations, and accomplishments. Or a place to seek advice or maybe just vent.
I love being a dad and am far from being perfect at it. We have been given an incredible opportunity to make a positive influence on the next generation. Trenton and I want to help dads get there with their kids, regardless of the childs abilities, stresses of life, or anything else that trys to interfere with this opportunity.
Let’s make a positive difference in the lives of the people who matter most to us!
